Fangbone!

Fang bone is a kid barbarian that other warriors think is weak. He goes to the real world and gets an army of third graders to help him defeat the dirt devil.
This is my favorite book because it is action packed. For example, Fang bone has to fight many villains like the Dirt Devil, the Hound Snake, and Lord King-Bat. This book is great!
I loved this book, and I give it five paws!

Marvelous Mimzy!

I love the movie Mimzy because it is about a girl and her brother who live in a beach house. They found a box so they took it home. Inside were mysterious rocks that, when put together, created black hole, and a stuffed bunny. Or was it stuffed? What happens next? You’ll have to rent it and see.

I liked this book because it had a long of action and interesting parts in it. An example of this is when the brother put his arm through the hole that the rocks made and it got stuck. Her sister tried her best to keep mom and dad from knowing. This movie was awesome!

If you’re looking for action and adventure, then this is the movie for you! I give it five paws!

The Mysterious Goblet of Fire!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best book I have read. This book is the 4th in the series. At the very beginning, a new teacher takes the job for defense against the dark arts. To make things worse, The Triwizard tournament comes to Hogwarts, and when Harry thinks everything’s okay, he mysteriously gets accepted into The Triwizard Cup. During the story he does challenges including dragons, merpeople, and a maze. Also in the story there are funny parts, fights, and the worst villain of all, Voldemort.

I really like this book because there are fights and a lot of action. For example, Malfoy was making fun of Harry and got turned into a ferret. Another reason I like this book is when Harry does the dragon challenge, which was to get the golden egg away from its dragon mother. To make thinks worse, he has to get it away from the meanest dragon of them all. He calls his broom and flies out of the arena to get the dragon away from the egg.

There is only one thing I hate about this book though; it is the fact that the book ends.

This book is one of the best books I have ever read, and I give it five paws.

Collins is on Fire!

My favorite book is called Catching Fire, It’s about Katniss, a teenager, with her friend Peeta; they are from the district 12. They are going to fight in the Quarter Quell. That is when all of the past victors of the Hunger Games are going to fight. People start to bomb the arena, the question is: will she survive the bombs that were fired in the arena?
I like the book because Suzanne Collins puts details in her action. For example, in the book Katniss threw a spear right down a teenager’s throat with blood dripping down his slick neck. Another example is when a boy stabbed his trident through a man’s bloody chest. It’s a very good book with action!
I insist you to read this book and the others, and I give this book 5 paws!

SpongeBob Special!

The SpongeBob movie is about a sea of characters that lives on the ocean floor. Mr.krabs opens a new restaurant called the krusty crab 2, and he has to decide a new manager for the new crusty crab. The next day, they announced the new manager and it wasn’t SpongeBob … it was squidward. Meanwhile, Plankton, Mr. Crab’s enemy, is trying to steal the crabby patty formula with this plan called Z. Will he be able to do it?

I like this movie because it is a very funny. For example, at the end of the movie David Hasslehoff gave them a ride to the middle of the ocean and then to the bottom. This is why I like the sponge bob movie I give this movie 4 paws.

Pedro, Life on the Open Sea

Will Pedro come back to Spain alive? Where is he? Does the sea ever stop stretching on the horizon? All of these questions repeatedly run through Pedro’s head as the journey across the sea to uncharted lands. They think they are heading toward Asia, when really they really are heading toward America. Pedro is only about twelve, but he was hired to be ship’s boy on the trip across the seven seas. You’ll be pulled in, with lots of twists and turns, always wanting to read more to see if he makes it alive. The whole book is told by the point of view of Pedro, and it’s told like you’re reading his journal.

The author did a really good job writing this book, and it shows what life might have been like in years past. Like how a young sailor might of felt, being far from home, not being the least bit sure where they are.

It keeps you wondering “What if I was Pedro”. I think this is a great book for all audiences, leaving behind the wonder of life long ago. I give this book 5 paws!
