My favorite candy was the sour. It was smooth and sweet. It tasted like a strawberry dipped in sugar. It made my mouth water like a waterfall. The licorice had no taste to it, and it was not sweet; it was just too strong. Now the cherry made me sick to my stomach, and I didn’t feel good after that. That is why I liked the sour best.

I liked the cherry candy the best because it was sweet, juicy and chewy. I didn’t like the licorice at all because it tasted like a dishtowel with dishwater on it. I also didn’t like the sour candy because it tasted like a hard cupcake that was too hard to chew. That is why I liked the cherry candy the best.

My teacher came to me asking, “Try these candies and write about which one you like. So that’s why I’m here today! She gave me three candies...a sour, a cherry, and a licorice. The sour one was orange and white, it was an oval shape, and got stuck to my teeth. It was really sour …just the way I like it! The cherry was tangy and a dark red color, smelled like vanilla, and heart shaped. After I swallowed there was a good lemony after taste. The licorice was black and dog shaped, I just felt sorry for the dog when I bit it. I didn’t like the taste, it was too sticky and tasted like root beer suckers. I asked my teacher “What is the licorice made out of?” then she answered “The Scottish root, which makes root beer! “So I told her “I like the sour candy best!”

Recently our music teacher (A.K.A. communications teacher) let our class taste test different candies for an opinion piece. My opinion is that the cherry was the best, the sour in second, and the licorice in last.

I enjoyed the cherry candy the most since cherry it is my favorite flavor and it had just the right taste with a gooey inside and hard outside. This was defiantly my favorite of them all, in fact, probably one of my favorite candies.

Next, in second best, is the sour flavored candy. The downfall is the texture of the sour pieces on the top, with the little sour things like salt, and the burst of sour at the first bite. It wasn’t all bad though. After you get past the sour in your mouth, it was very good, and actually sweet.

In last (and least) was the small piece of black licorice. This candy is extremely tuff and hard to chew, like rubber cement, (even though I have never tried it), and tasted awful, almost like play-doe. Not to mention it stayed in my mouth all day clinging to my teeth, forcing me to taste it the rest of the day, every time I swallowed.

So, overall, my favorite candy is the cheery flavored candy, the sour in second best, and the licorice is far in third.

The Sour Candy Lover

My writing teacher gave me 3 candies to try. My favorite candy is the sour, which was chewy and sour, so it made me want more and more. The licorice was way too sweet. The cherry candy was sweet and sour so it had an odd taste. Also I don’t like the cherry because it really sticks to my teeth. So that’s why I like the sour candy best.

I think the sour candy was my favorite because it was soft, sour, and tasty! It’s better than the other two. The cherry candy was sour, and the licorice is nasty because it tastes like root beer. I don’t really like root beer. Too, the sour candy had a long lasting taste in my mouth, and that is why I like the sour candy!

Out of the three, my favorite candy is the sour candy. It was tart and then turned sweet. I did not like the other candy as much because they did not taste as good. The cherry was too sweet, and the licorice tasted like root beer, which I don’t like. And that is why I liked the sour candy the best.

I enjoyed the sour candy. I liked it the best because it was not too sour and not too sweet. In Mrs. Isaacs’s class we also tried the black licorice. It was very gross. It tasted like root beer, and I do not like root beer. The cherry candy was too chewy and it stuck to my teeth, it took me way too long to get off the roof of my mouth. The cherry tasted like octopus! (I know that because I have tried it before) Overall I like the sour the most because it was a mix between the other candies. Another reason the sour candy was the best, because it didn't make your face scrunch up entirely, and it was perfectly sour and sweet!

The reason why I chose cherry is because that it was sweet, and it smelled like cherry. The sour candy wasn't sour, and the licorice taste like root beer. But it wasn't sweet. And that’s why the cherry candy is my favorite.

My favorite candy is the sour heart because I love sour things. It was supposed to be sour, but it wasn’t.

The licorice was not good, but not revolting either. The cherry candy was not nasty, but not the best type of candy you can buy. My favorite candy was the sour heart, that’s my opinion.

My favorite candy is the sour candy because it feels like a sour piece of gum in my mouth . I did not like the licorice because it tasted like a rotten piece of bolony , and it smelled like expired root beer . I did like the cherry because it had a great taste, but it did not smell good . The sour candy made my mouth water like a waterfall, and had the smell of something good. That’s why I like the sour candy.

I hated the licorice! It tasted like spinach and peppers. It was the worst thing I ever ate in my life. I about threw up, because it was the taste that was BOLD. The color of it was too weird to look at. It was worse than the cherry-coated-with-dark-pink-colored-sticky-stuff, and the dark chocolate out of the chocolate factory! I liked the sour candy better than the others. It was sour but nothing I couldn’t handle. It had something about it that made me hate it. And that’s why I hated the Licorice!

I liked the licorice the best because it tasted like really strong root beer. When I tried it at first, it was horrible, but then I shoved the whole thing in my mouth, and then it tasted good. It was better than the sour candy because the sour candy was too sweet. It was also better than the cherry because the cherry was really nasty and way too sweet. This is why I liked the licorice the best out of all the Candy.

I think the sour candy was the best candy I had. I liked this candy the best because it was sour and really sweet. It also tasted like lemon and had no after taste .I liked the cherry candy too, but it tasted like fruit loops. My least favorite candy was the licorice because it tasted like rotten cheese, and it smelled like it was a million years old. It was also the worst piece of candy I have ever tasted in my entire life. And that is why I liked the sour candy the best.
